The following is a summary of what it means to be a good ScrnShots.com community member.
Be Respectful
ScrnShots is a community of many types of people who are all here to learn and better our understanding of design and screen based interactions. So, be polite and respectful at all times. We're all here to help each other!
Upload Screenshots, not Photos
Screenshots only please. Do not upload photos. If you want a place to host your photos, check out Flickr.
Respect Copyrights
Don't infringe on the intellectual property rights or other rights of others, including trademark, copyright, trade secret, patent, publicity right, or privacy rights.
Don't pass other people's work off as your own. (that's what the source url in the description is for).
Moderate Your Content
You need to take responsibility for ensuring that what you upload is appropriate for the community. That means no screenshots with nudity, illegal or prohibited material. If we find you uploading illegal or prohibited material, your account will be deleted and we'll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities.
Link back to ScrnShots
The ScrnShots service makes it possible to post screenshots hosted on ScrnShots to outside web sites. However, pages on other web sites that display images hosted on scrnshots.com must provide a link from each photo back to its photo page on ScrnShots.

Don't Cross the Line
In most circumstances, we like to give second chances, so we'll send you a warning if you violate the Community Guidelines. Subsequent violations can result in account termination without warning.
No Harassing or Ranting
ScrnShots is a place for discussion and improvement, please do not harass, abuse, impersonate, or intimidate others. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we'll send you a warning or terminate your account.
We're not a Web Host
Your account will be terminated if we find you using it to host graphic elements of web page designs, icons, smilies, buddy icons, forum avatars, badges, and other non-screenshot elements.
Not for Commercial Use
ScrnShots is for personal use only. If we find you selling products, services, or yourself through your screenshots, we will terminate your account. Any other commercial use of ScrnShots, or ScrnShots accounts must be approved by ScrnShots.
