Lots of interesting things going on here, I would love to hear what a psychologist has to say about:
1) focus on how much you want to pay vs what features you need
2) the fact that you can't actually pay for a plan, you have to start with a free account
3) almost all features are consistent across all plans but still shown in the table
4) the class of services with "Moped" to make you feel little
Interesting point with (2) "the fact that you can't actually pay for a plan, you have to start with a free account". I wonder if they ever did any A/B testing to see if this way of doing it is more successful.
I assume that it's easier to get someone signed up to a free account and upgrade them to a pay account than sell them on an expensive account right off the bat.
