Ooo, very nice. I like how the upload button is more prominent. Not sure about the gloss in the second level of navigation though, too much gloss is a bit tacky in my opinion.

Good point about the second level navigation. I agree that too much gloss can become pretty tacky. The trick is to let the design fit in, while not using the exact same technique everywhere.

I like it. For me, I like the glossy look of the bottom toolbar too. :) Maybe I would put some icon neat the upload button, to give it even more emphasis.

I am new here, but I must say that the navigation you are planning looks much improved. I tend to agree on the second level gloss. I would reserve the glossy goodness for main nav only.

This looks pretty great. I like the prominent upload button a lot. Maybe I'm tacky, but I'm a fan of the gloss. Not sure how much I would apply the technique in my own designs, but I think it fits here, especially within the (mostly) two-tone color scheme.

Simple, straightforward, and clean. Just the way I like it.

I think that new upload button suits your color scheme a lot better. I also think having the whole nav/tool bar aqua color gives it a lot more prominence, good work!

Haven't been here long but I think this design looks fab, and I don't think the gloss on both looks bad :)

If we only had the time to implement any of our design sketches :). Actually we've got a new home page coming this week that will be very cool (design and functionality wise)
